Environmental Policy
Centreprint take your concern for the environment very seriously.
All board and paper used in the production of our greeting cards
and envelopes is always sourced from well managed forests that are
FSC
certified sources, where at least three trees are re-planted
for every one that is felled. The trees are grown as a crop (as
with annual crops such as wheat) only our trees are harvested over
an eight to ten year time scale before being replaced with at least
three new saplings for the future. Tree production provides the
planet with oxygen and removes carbon from the atmosphere, as well
as providing a habitat for wildlife and leisure. The printing process
we use is digital and uses no metal printing plates or oil based
inks. Very minimal waste is produced due to the process used and
what waste there is, is sorted, collected and recycled.
