Greeting card publishers - our FREE GOLD archive service
We offer a special FREE GOLD service for greeting card publishers (however small). After your initial order(s), we automatically archive your design(s) for a minimum of 10 years, with our onsite archive AND duplicated safe and secure offsite storage, at no charge to you. In reality, this means that you can trust us to hold virtual "stock" for you, which may be called off at any time, with just a few days notice. There is NO minimum order for each design. You just pay the standard rate as above and include as many designs in your order as you wish.

Example: Let us assume that we hold ten of your designs in our archive. Some sell better than others, naturally. You then order 200 cards at the price above. You request 40 off design A, 30 off design B, 30 off design C and 100 off design D (design D sells better). You only pay the standard 200 cards rate, yet receive exactly what you need.

Totally FREE
This totally free service offers safe and secure digital archiving of all greeting card and psotcard designs that you send to us for printing, for a period of at least ten years. This means that large or small quantities of cards can be "called off" at any time (the total being subject to our minimum order), without any physical stock being held by you or us. This service is available to all new and existing greeting card publishers and happens automatically - you don't have to ask for it!

Multiple versions
Our prices assume that all the cards are printed to ONE design. If you require extra versions (i.e. 250 off each of two designs, making 500 in total or 50 off each of four designs, making 200 in total) we only charge an extra £10 for each extra design. For example, 500 cards off two designs (250 off each) would only cost an extra £10 (plus VAT). This option is available on the order form after you have uploaded your images.

Greetings card despatch is just 3-4 working days from proof acceptance - why wait? Diamond flap envelopes are FREE with every order. UK mainland delivery is also free.

Greetings card layout
Layout and proofing is FREE (once you have placed your order). Just upload your image during the order process and we will do the rest. We can reduce your image to fit the card, so don't worry if it is too large. RGB images are fine as well, so just send your original camera file, with any cropping instructions. Logo design and complex artwork is extra if required. (Please ask us to quote if you are unsure).

We always supply a printed proof (unless you request a PDF proof to speed up production time). However, if you are not happy with the proof once you have received it, we will re-proof until you are satisfied OR offer to refund your payment in FULL.

Our greetings card board - Environmentally Friendly Board from sustainable forests
Our greetings cards are printed on environmentally friendly Trucard. Trucard is made from 100% Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) woodpulps, sourced from carefully managed and renewed forests. Trucard is fully recyclable and is manufactured to precise and controlled standards. The supplier, Tullis Russell is registered under the British and international quality standard BS EN ISO 9001-2000 and the environmental standard BS EN ISO 14001. Trucard contains fibre from mixed sources and woodpulps from well managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council. © 1996 Forest Stewardship Council A.C.

Greetings cards are available in two styles, all featuring your own image or artwork on the front. Any wording may be added to your image and any wording or logo may be printed on the outside back and (if ordered as double sided) inside.
Style 1 is a standard, portrait (vertical) card. see style example

Sizes
We produce two standard sizes of printed greetings cards.
A6 size is A5, scored to fold to A6 - finished size 148mm x 105mm. These fit C6 size envelopes (supplied FREE with all orders) All cards are creased and supplied flat, ready for you to fold to size and pack with the envelope.
A5 size is A4, scored to fold to A5 - finished size 210mm x 148mm. These fit C5 size envelopes (supplied FREE with all orders) All cards are creased and supplied flat, ready for you to fold to size and pack with the envelope.

Cello bags
If you are selling your greetings cards, it makes sense for you to pack each card and the envelope individually in a glass- clear "cello bag". Cello bag prices They are peel and seal, so no sealing label is required.

We offer inexpensive, top quality "glass-clear" polycarbonate "peel and seal" cello bags in two sizes - A6 and A5. The bags will each hold one card and one envelope (free envelopes are supplied with the cards). The option to cello bags purchase is available when you place an order for either size cards. These bags are just like the ones you see in card shops and will make your cards look very professional, as well as keeping them clean. Multiple images on your cards
The above prices assume that all the cards are the same. If you want to order multiple images (i.e. 250 off each of two cards = 500 cards) at present, we charge just £10 extra for each card AFTER the first one. Therefore two different cards within a quantity would add £10 plus VAT. For example, 100 cards with five designs would cost the standard 100 price PLUS an extra £10 for each extra image - 4 x £10 = £40 extra - plus VAT. FREE Envelopes
Good quality diamond-flap greetings cards envelopes are supplied FREE with every order for greetings cards. Why pay extra elsewhere? We also recommend our crystal clear peel and seal cello bags.

Colour matching
Please note that ALL forms of printing (litho, digital or even your budget desktop inkjet printer) are based on the CMYK colour system, which has a very narrow range of available colours, compared to your television, camera or computer monitor. We will happily accept RGB files and images to print, but the colours we print are likely to be different to those seen on your screen and inkjet printer. This is why we send you a hard copy proof in the post. If colour is critical or important to you, we recommend that you send us a hard copy print-out to try to match to. Please also note that whoever prints your image, printed colours can never be as bright as those seen on your computer screen. See an explanation of the CMYK process. Naturally, it is very easy to alter the brightness and colours of your computer monitor, but this will not alter the original file.

Layout
Layout and proofing is FREE, once you have placed your order. Just upload your image and we will do the rest. Logo design (if required) and complex artwork is extra if required. (Please ask us to quote if you are unsure).

Despatch
Quantities up to 500 cards are usually despatched 3 - 4 working days after proof acceptance - sometimes faster.

Delivery
Free delivery is by Post for small quantities and usually takes 2-3 days from when we despatch. Special Delivery is available at an extra cost of £7.50 plus VAT and usually arrives the day after we despatch. Special delivery needs to be signed for. How can I sell my greetings cards?

Greetings cards are ever-popular and sell for quite a high price in the shops. You can incorporate your own artwork or design or use a photograph that you have taken.

If you are offering cards featuring your local area, pop into local pubs, post offices, general stores, tourist attractions, petrol stations and offer to keep them stocked on a sale or return basis.

Package the cards, with an envelope, individually in cello bags to keep your stock clean. In this way, if you get returns, you can offer them for sale again elsewhere.

If you are a church, school or charity, make sure that all of your members, friends and parents are aware that you are offering greetings cards for sale. Most people buy dozens of cards every year, so will be pleased to buy them from you to raise funds. Women buy the most cards, so make sure that your designs are attractive to the ladies.
